Under the Gums Irrigant is a Truly Natural® professional strength antimicrobial herbal concentrate designed for dilution and use with an oral irrigator. Under the Gums Irrigant is delivered subgingivally into periodontal pockets to reduce hard to reach bacteria and freshen breath. The all natural formulation of herbs and oils can be used as a pre-treatment before prophylactic cleaning procedures to help control bacteria after periodontitis treatment. The irrigant contains pure essential oils and extracts of organically grown herbs that penetrate the mucous membrane for greater potency and longer lasting effectiveness.
The extraordinary effectiveness of the Dental Herb Company products is due to the unique way in which they are formulated. Precisely calculated proportions of pure essential oils work synergistically with alcohol-free extracts of organically grown herbs to reduce oral bacteria and maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Under the Gums Irrigant is available in a 4.1oz glass bottle, which if used once daily is approximately a two-month supply.
Tips for Usage:
Direct patients to use Under the Gums Irrigant after brushing teeth with Tooth & Gums Paste® (preferably before going to bed). Shake bottle before use. Dilute 1/3 capful (appox. 1/2 tsp.) of Irrigant with 7oz. (210ml) of water in the irrigator reservoir. Stir or shake to mix thoroughly. Irrigate around teeth and under the gums. For best results, do not eat or drink for 15 minutes after use. Important: Rinse reservoir and flush with warm water after each use.
Not for use by children under 6 years of age. Do not swallow.
Ingredients:
vegetable glycerine, extracts of echinacea angustofolia, echinacea purpurea and gotu kola, pure essential oils of peppermint, red thyme, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus globulus and lavender, plant saponins.
