How do the ingredients in Drenamin support healthy adrenal gland function?

Vitamin C is found in high concentrations in the adrenal glands and plays a role in their natural stress response. ¹ Vitamin C is a cofactor involved in the synthesis of catecholamines, “fight-or-flight” hormones that are secreted by the adrenal glands, ² such as epinephrine (adrenaline), norepinephrine (noradrenaline), and dopamine. Both epinephrine and norepinephrine are hormones secreted by the adrenal glands in response to stress. Dopamine is a precursor to both of these hormones and is an important neurotransmitter that supports movement and balance and has also been associated with mood. ³*

Drenamin contains riboflavin, niacin, and vitamin B ₆. Vitamin B ₆ supports the metabolism of tryptophan. ⁴ Tryptophan, an essential amino acid, is a precursor of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood, appetite, and sleep. Tryptophan is required by the body but can’t be made by it and is therefore considered an essential dietary nutrient. ⁵ Poultry is a well-known source of this amino acid. Additionally, some great vegetable sources of tryptophan are mushrooms, spinach, soybeans, asparagus, and kale. ⁶ Vitamin B ₂, or riboflavin, facilitates the metabolism of both vitamin B ₆ and niacin in the body. ⁷*
