Evening Primrose Oil is a supplemental source of all natural Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), the most health promoting omega-6 fatty acid. Together with the omega-3 fatty acids, omega-6 fatty acids play a number of crucial roles in the body. GLA plays a key role in the regulation of both inflammatory and immune processes. It plays an important role in brain function, as well as in normal growth and development, and is beneficial for the stimulation of skin and hair growth, the maintenance of bone health, the regulation of metabolism, and it also functions as an important component in the reproductive system.
